Undoubtedly, one of the most difficult stains is the dirt on shirt collars and shirt cuffs. The collars of light-colored shirts are especially prone to dirt.

Shirts, which are among the clothes we often prefer in our daily lives, will have a short life if they are not cleaned properly. Even if you wash them in the washing machine, scrub them by hand or even take them to the dry cleaner, you cannot get rid of the yellow stains on the collars of white shirts.

First of all, we recommend that you wash the shirt collar and shirt cuff sections with white soap and wait for 1 hour. Then, wash them in your washing machine with your other light-colored clothes.

Our other suggestion is to pour liquid dishwashing detergent if the dirt is very stubborn. Brush the stained areas with an old toothbrush. Then wait for 30 minutes and spray the stained areas with stain remover and complete the washing process in the washing machine.

A mixture of white vinegar and baking soda will also be suitable for those stubborn collars and cuffs. It is important to use suitable materials to remove stains. Avoiding bleach and abrasive cleaning products will prevent damage to the fabric and extend the life of your shirt.
